Use of PSG Database
Terms of Service
Effective July 23, 2026Accurate and authorized records
Users must submit information they reasonably believe is accurate and may edit only records they are authorized to manage. Breeders, owners, and administrators are expected to correct known errors promptly and to preserve the distinction between confirmed information, self-reported information, and uncertain claims.
Prohibited misuse
Users may not knowingly submit false pedigrees, impersonate another breeder or owner, create deceptive test records, bypass privacy controls, misuse another person’s photographs, interfere with the service, scrape protected data, harass other users, or use PSG Database to facilitate unlawful conduct.
Account restrictions and termination
PSG Database may correct records, restrict features, suspend accounts, or terminate access when a user misuses the service, repeatedly submits inaccurate information, ignores correction requests, threatens database integrity, or violates these terms.
Photos and submitted content
Users must have permission to upload submitted photographs and information. By submitting content, the user permits PSG Database to store and display it according to the record’s privacy settings and the photo-approval rules.
Calculations and informational tools
Pedigree calculations, COI, ALC, completeness values, possible genetics outcomes, and planned-pairing pages are informational tools. They are not veterinary, legal, genetic-testing, or breeding guarantees.
Record preservation
Some historical information may remain in audit logs or ownership history after an account changes or closes because permanent provenance is essential to pedigree integrity.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be revised as PSG Database develops. Continued use after an updated version is posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
